The person behind the firm
Tom founded Cost Dynamics in 2026 after more than eight years in operations, procurement and supply chain, leading cost transformations across Australia, Europe and North America.
Most recently, he was a Senior Project Manager at BCG Inverto, Boston Consulting Group’s specialist procurement and supply chain business, based in London. Before that, he spent five years across the data analytics and operations practices of a Big Four firm.
Alongside advisory work, Tom led the technical build of AI products within BCG’s Climate and Sustainability practice. He works directly in Python, SQL and Power BI, bringing practical technical judgement to the question of what can be implemented—and sustained.
Cost Dynamics grew out of a pattern he saw repeatedly: the organisations getting value from AI chose a few meaningful use cases, anchored them to a baseline their finance team recognised, and took them into production.
