This notice describes the current CostDynamics.ai website, operated by founder Tom Purnell. The final trading entity, business address and service-provider arrangements will be confirmed before public launch. For privacy questions, email tom@costdynamics.ai.
Information we handle
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, contact details, organisation and enquiry. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or confidential client material in an initial enquiry. The website does not currently have an enquiry submission form, account registration, payment facility or embedded calendar.
Our hosting providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, browser information and security logs to deliver and protect the website. The private preview also uses the hosting platform’s access controls. These platform functions are separate from optional website analytics.
Why we use information
We use enquiries to respond to requests, discuss possible engagements and maintain relevant business correspondence. We use necessary technical information to operate the site, investigate faults and prevent abuse. Where UK or EU data protection law applies, the relevant basis may be taking steps at your request before a contract, our legitimate interests in running a secure business and responding to enquiries, or compliance with legal obligations. Optional analytics, if enabled, uses your consent.
Cookies and local storage
We use local storage to remember your cookie choices for six months and your requested reduced-motion preference until you clear it. These settings do not identify you by name. The hosting platform may use necessary authentication or security cookies.
Optional analytics is currently disabled. The site is prepared for Google Analytics only after it is configured and you opt in. If enabled, it would measure page views and general website usage. We do not intentionally send enquiry contents, email addresses, URL query strings or URL fragments to analytics. Advertising storage and advertising personalisation remain disabled. We will update this notice and request fresh consent before activating analytics.
Choose Cookie settings in the footer to review or withdraw your choice. Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent you from using the site. Clearing browser storage removes saved preferences.
Service providers and overseas processing
The preview is hosted through ChatGPT Sites, with Cloudflare infrastructure. Email enquiries are handled through our email service. Providers may process information in countries outside your location. Before public launch, we will confirm the applicable processors, processing locations and any safeguards required for international transfers. Following a LinkedIn link or opening your email app takes you to a separate service governed by its own privacy arrangements.
Retention and security
We keep correspondence only for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, manage any relationship and meet applicable legal or record-keeping requirements. Specific retention periods for email and hosting logs will be confirmed before launch. Access is restricted to people and providers who need it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, or to raise a concern. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, request portability or withdraw consent. We may need to verify your identity and explain any legal reason we cannot fulfil a request. You may complain to the relevant regulator, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office where applicable.
